Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate food & beverage professional to join our team. Delta Sky Club SLC is now hiring an ASSISTANT MANAGER; as an Assistant Manager with the Delta Sky Club team, you will be responsible for assisting with the overall management of food service operations, adhering to all corporate and brand standards. Please note - this manager is heavily focused on managing the very busy bar operations within the Sky Club, which welcomes over 3,500 guests daily! You will maximize profitability, as well as, guest and associate satisfaction. You are a critical member of the leadership team, ensuring the Delta Sky Club travelers experience wow-worthy service in exceptional surroundings, each and every day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Assists with managing bar & food service operations in accordance with the approved budget while providing the client with the maximum value for the dollars spent.
+ Ensures the food and beverages offered to the client, customers, and associates of the operation is of superior quality.
+ Assists with purchasing and inventory; assists with monthly beverage specials (roll out and implementation), ensuring the team is trained on the program
+ Maintains excellent relationships with associates, guests and client, as well as, other departments within the operation.
+ Motivates, trains, and inspires an engaged, dedicated, and positive team; inspires and holds the team accountable
Qualifications:
+ 2 to 4 years of food service management - must have bar management and strong front of house operations experience
+ Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of cocktail/wine/beverage offerings
+ Financial experience and business acumen skills.
+ ServSafe Certification is preferred.
+ Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
+ Associate’s degree is preferred.
Please note - must be available for rotating shifts (days/nights/weekends). This is an on site role in the SLC airport!
