Expected salary range of $182,700 to $203,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Responsibilities:PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
A mid-level attorney handling supply chain/procurement and related legal matters and projects.
POSITION SCOPE
- Manages relationships and matters with internal clients and outside counsel.
- Demonstrates superior legal judgment in the business context.
- Demonstrates innovation; generates new ideas and devises original and successful solutions, programs or actions.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Handle and supervise supply chain/procurement and related legal assignments; evaluate both legal and business risks and advise clients accordingly with minimal supervision.
Review and draft procurement documents including terms and conditions, purchase orders and other contracts and advise clients accordingly.
- Work closely with and advise clients with respect to supply chain/procurement and related matters.
- Projects / duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- An LLB or JD from an accredited law school and eligible to practice law as in-house counsel in the relevant jurisdictions.
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience drafting contracts.
- Excellent legal analytical and drafting abilities.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing; to analyze legal materials and other data; to work in stressful conditions under time deadlines; and to provide realistic risk assessments and practical advice to clients.
Qualifications:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Exposure to supply chain/procurement processes and procedures.
- Law firm experience.
- Experience and knowledge of the energy industry (and in particular nuclear power).
- Experience negotiating IT and software contracts, or industrial services contracts.
