Job Summary:
Service is the foundation of everything we stand for at Vail Resorts and our Housekeeping team is the start of creating that experience of a lifetime for our guests. Responsible for managing daily operations and housekeeping staff, the Executive Housekeeper is detail oriented master of hospitality.
Job Specifications:
+ Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time / Year Round
+ Skill Level: Advanced
+ Outlet: Mountain Thunder Lodge
+ The expected range is $55,000 - $57,000
Job Responsibilities:
+ Manage daily housekeeping operations and performance including hiring, scheduling, training and developing staff, communication, assignments, budgets, inventory, and record keeping.
+ Monitor team performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, including recognition or correction action if necessary
+ Collect data from guest satisfaction surveys to monitor performance and trends as a means for continuous improvement of the department
+ Partner with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure products and services are meeting quality standards
+ Provide excellent service to all guests, responding promptly to any accommodation requests
+ Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
+ High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
+ 1-3 years of housekeeping, guest service or hospitality management experience preferred
+ Must be able to communicate fluently in English, bilingual a plus
+ Ability to work a flexible schedule including split shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends
+ Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
The expected pay range is $55,000 - $57,000. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
