Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and direct a team of employees ensuring effective communication and a positive work environment. Coach and develop staff to meet performance goals.
- Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing duties, customer transactions and maintaining a clean and organized store.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory ordering and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Customer Experience: Ensure that customers receive excellent service and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Perform regular housekeeping duties and ensure the safety of all customers and employees entering the store.
- Performance Management: Assist in conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback and helping employees develop in their roles.
- Other Duties: Help with administrative tasks, assist with training new employees and contribute to the overall success of the store.
- Mid-management experience:** Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a retail or convenience store setting.
- Retail experience: A solid understanding of retail operations, inventory management and customer service.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, coach and develop a team while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of handling customer concerns, employee issues and operational challenges with professionalism.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work 45 hours per week including every other weekend and rotating weekday days off.
- Management Experience: Some prior management experience is preferred but not required.
