Job Title: Assistant Store Manager  
Location: Hastings, NE  Schedule: Full-time, 45 hours per week, 1st & 2nd shift, every other weekend, weekdays will rotatePay: $16-18 per hour (depending on experience)

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing daily store operations, managing inventory and leading a dynamic team. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the store runs smoothly, safely and provides exceptional service to customers. Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and direct a team of employees ensuring effective communication and a positive work environment. Coach and develop staff to meet performance goals.
• Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing duties, customer transactions and maintaining a clean and organized store.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory ordering and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Customer Experience: Ensure that customers receive excellent service and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Perform regular housekeeping duties and ensure the safety of all customers and employees entering the store.
• Performance Management: Assist in conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback and helping employees develop in their roles.
• Other Duties: Help with administrative tasks, assist with training new employees and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Qualifications:

• Mid-management experience:** Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a retail or convenience store setting.
• Retail experience: A solid understanding of retail operations, inventory management and customer service.
• Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, coach and develop a team while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of handling customer concerns, employee issues and operational challenges with professionalism.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work 45 hours per week including every other weekend and rotating weekday days off.
• Management Experience: Some prior management experience is preferred but not required.
