Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager
Reports to: District Sales Manager

POSITION:
The Assistant Manager is responsible for working with the District Manager to achieve studio growth through new membership sales and the retention of current members. The Assistant Manager will help to oversee all aspects of studio functionality including Sales, Operations and supervision of front desk sales associates. Our team members must have strong customer service skills, be able to communicate in an effective and efficient way, be team-orientated and have a drive and passion for sales and service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of sales or fitness sales experience
- 1 years of experience supervising people successfully
- Proven experience in generating and following up on leads, demonstrated sales success and strong communication and customer service skills
- Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales targets
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in person, on the phone and via email
- Highly organized, must be able to work under pressure
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have proficient computer skills
- Attend special events and trainings as needed
- Full time (32-40 hours per week). 2 Weekday shifts, 2 Weeknights shifts and every Saturday or Every Other Weekend (Saturday Sunday) is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute full sales process of lead generation, follow up, and closing the sale in person or on the phone
- Meet and exceed sales goals as established by the District Manager
- Conduct studio tours with new prospects to build rapport to facilitate sales
- Manage member services, including new member onboarding and member account upgrades/downgrades/cancellations and freezes
- Participate in the growth of all revenue streams including Memberships, Retail and Teacher Training
- Be knowledgeable about products, programs and pricing
- Assist in the hiring, training and supervision of Front Desk Sales Associates
- Participate in grassroots/community events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the studio as needed
- Assists with maintaining a clean, safe and inviting environment
- Manage maintenance issues, inventory and cleaning
- Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills
- Participate in studio and company-wide meetings and trainings as necessary
- Assist in social media management
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
- May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car. This job requires the person to climb up and down flights of stairs multiple times in a shift. May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
