Assistant Manager Respiratory Therapy - CaroMont Health

Job Summary: Provides leadership, manages and coordinates activities on a designated shift within the Respiratory Care Department. Participates in the coordination of patient care and departmental activities consistent with the organizational and departmental mission statement and values. Participates in staffing as needed. Serves on committees, attends meetings and performs other duties as required.



Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist who is licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the state of North Carolina. At least 3 years of experience in all areas of critical care (neonatal and adult) and general floor care. BSRT and supervisory experience preferred. Considerable knowledge of respiratory care terminology, procedures, techniques, and equipment. Ability to deal tactfully with patients, employees, physicians, and other hospital staff. Considerable ability to manage, coach and provide a motivated environment for staff. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP required.
