Assistant Manager RN - Critical Care 3rd floor Belmont - Nights Full Time - CaroMont Health

CaroMont Health is hiring a FULL-TIME Assistant Nurse Manager to work NIGHT shifts in our Critical Care Unit at our NEW CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Belmont, NC!

Sign-on Bonus up to $13,000 based on experience!

Assistant Nurse Manager Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership, manages, and coordinates activities of an assigned nursing department.
• Participates in the coordination of patient care and departmental activities consistent with the corporate, division, and departmental mission statement and values.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).
• BSN preferred.
• Two years progressive nursing experience in an acute hospital preferred with outstanding leadership skills documented.
• Thorough knowledge of specialty nursing principles, methods, and techniques.
• Able to deal tactfully with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professionals, and families.
• Considerable ability to manage, coach, and provide a motivated environment.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke, NRP, STABLE or TNCC as required by specialty.
