Summary of Position:
The Assistant Manager is the level of management within each restaurant who is a main shift leader and reports directly to the General Manager. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the support in maximizing efficiency and the technical operations of the restaurant, specifically, hospitality, quality, and cleanliness during their shifts.
Compensation:
- Total annual compensation package: $43,000-$49,500+
- 100% company-paid Blue Cross Blue Shield health and dental insurance
- 10 days accrued vacation per year
- 2 consecutive days off per week

Specific Responsibilities:
- Key Manager of one location which consists of a staff of a General Manager, one other salaried Assistant Manager, 3+ hourly-paid Supervisors, and 25-45 Team Members
- Accountable for some aspects of the restaurant's operations and financial performance standards
- Fully supported by one General Manager and one other salaried Assistant Manager, who assist in the above duties plus scheduling and two weekly food orders
- Participate, observe, and assess Team Member hiring and training while providing positive reinforcement and constant evaluation of in-store talent
- Promote the delivery and rollout of new products, marketing initiatives, technology, operational programs, and procedures
- Ability to make quick, confident decisions without fear of making mistakes
- Assist in the management of cost of goods sold, labor, and other controllable expenses
- Develop and execute strategies to ensure operational progress, sales growth, and employee retention
Desired Skills & Proficiencies
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experienced with managing a fully staffed business and reporting to and developing a good rapport with a direct superior
- Reliable transportation
- Highly proficient in reading and writing
- Must pass background check
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, occasionally use a ladder, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Available mornings, days, afternoons, evenings, nights and weekends
- Available to work five 10-hour shifts per week

Requirements

- Experience in financial statements, ordering, and inventory management
- Technically competent in restaurant operating systems, learning systems and typical desktop software.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards while managing time and priorities efficiently.
- Available to work a variety of hours to include evenings, nights and weekends
- Managers work 50 hour weeks, with mandatory 2 consecutive off days
- Shifts are typically 9am-6pm, 11am-9pm, 12pm-10pm, 2pm-11pm or 3pm-12am
