As a Supervisor, you are an enthusiastic role model that motivates team members to deliver exceptional service for every guest, every time. Through your knowledge of the quick-service industry, you take pride in supporting the Restaurant Manager and Owner in the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced restaurant.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a passion for guest service and creating exceptional guest experiences

People Management:
- Assists the Restaurant Manager in recruitment and retention strategies
- Accountable for performance management, including training and developing new and existing team members, and motivating and encouraging team to achieve targets
- Sets goals and objectives for his/her team
- Reacts immediately to issues requiring attention during the shift
- Provides ongoing, specific direction to team members
- Responsible for shift cash procedures
- Maintains operational efficiency through use of positioning charts
- Assists the Restaurant Manager in driving sales and transactions during their shift
- Supervises team members to ensure primary and secondary duties are completed
- Encourages an exciting and fun work environment while motivating team members to meet goals
- Has excellent communication skills; ensures ongoing day to day communication with all shifts through communication log or other means
- Responsible for restaurant compliance with all applicable legislation
- Ensures high standards of guest experience are maintained and demonstrated as a top priority
- Implements, and instills in their teams, company policies, procedures, ethics
- Handles guest complaints and queries with professionalism and concern
- Establishes proper security procedures and ensures the reduction of team member theft and the safety of team members and guests
- Provides leadership and direction around waste management procedures
Job Requirements:
- Creates a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service while ensuring all team members engage guests and exceed service expectations
- Assists with managing the daily operation of the unit; including scheduling and training staff on each station and expectations of performance
- Leads a competent team of staff; ensure proper staffing levels (recruiting, interviewing, and hiring), training, coaching, problem resolution, developing and mentoring, and addressing any concerns to create a positive work environment
- Handles administrative duties such as entering daily operational information, performing feedback sessions, on-boarding new team members, budgeting, and finance management
- Ensures and upholds food safety and quality standards
- See things from the guest's perspective to understand how the restaurant is perceived and use that knowledge to improve offerings and drive sales
- Provides ongoing performance feedback to team members, and set employee and unit goals and objectives, and assist team members with achieving those goals
- Maintains and demonstrates professional work ethics, moral integrity and a positive attitude at all times
- Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the restaurant, including working evenings and weekends, as required
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills while being able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks quickly
- Superior customer service skills with the ability to calmly diffuse situations and provide an exceptional customer experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- MUST BE ON SITE
