What you'll do as a Assistant Mechanic/Yard Laborer + Perform routine oil changes as needed + Maintain service records and additional documentation as needed for DOT compliance + Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery + Provide assistance in the yard + Work in congested or remote areas as service calls dictate + Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies What you'll need + To be 18 years of age or older + Authorization to work in the United States for this company + Valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License + Working knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance + Experience/working knowledge in auto, diesel, small engine, and heavy equipment repair + Able to maintain a safe work environment + Able to work in all weather conditions Physical abilities & exposures + Routinely: Bend, lift, and twist and walk on uneven surfaces.
