As the Assistant Nurse Manager Med/Surg, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Nurse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Med/Surg unit on the night shift. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Nurse Manager in daily operations and staff management.
• Ensure high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and policy development.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care hospital experience in a Med/Surg setting.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Med/Surg nursing practices.
