IMMEDIATE OPENING due to retirement.
Can start December 2nd or January 2nd
Small school located in the St. Louis region is seeking a caring and dedicated individual who has a strong Special Education background and Principal certification (or working towards) to serve as an Assistant Principal.
Salary: $62,000 per year plus expensive benefits
Required: Current Missouri Teacher Certification, Master’s degree and teaching experience in special education.
Ideal opportunity for an experienced teacher who desires to move into administration and supervision to serve as an Assistant Principal.
Position Summary:
Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings and staffings
Monitor the implementation of IEPs and the IEP process.
Maintain all state and federal Special Education reports
Assist in maintaining necessary student/staff reports and records.
Assist in organizing and administering school programs to align to MSIP and Advanced Accreditation standards.
Conduct pre-service and in-service workshops
Assist in establishing and maintaining effective student behavior management programs and plans.
Facilitate committees and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
