Responsibilities
The Assistant, Print Production will be the central contact point for Spirit Halloween and Christmas packaging project work that flows through the creative team. This position will partner with Quality Assurance, Merchandising and Creative Teams to communicate timelines and manage deliverables.
- Oversee the approval process for packaging projects using tools like the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System
- Ensure approved files are accurately delivered to print vendors
- Facilitate project routing and monitor approvals throughout the production lifecycle
- Communicate job details to internal teams and external vendors while managing deadlines
- Verify that all packaging submissions are accurate before final release
- Ensure accuracy of all packaging mechanicals, both hard and digital proofs
- Maintain proofing workflows and review processes, including key team members
- Identify potential issues and develop contingency plans
- Organize meetings, develop agendas, and document action items
- Manage working and final files on the server, archiving as needed
- Coordinate timelines and scopes for licensed and private brand projects
- Address project management challenges to improve efficiency
- Resolve and escalate project issues and verify necessary claims and certifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a creative agency, print facility or a related field
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office; Adobe CC knowledge a plus
- Working knowledge of Creative Digital Processes, such as style guidelines and managing 3rd party vendors
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple, large projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
