Salary/Pay Range : $77,000-$80,000 annually. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position is exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

Summary
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, starting August 2025. The department offers PhD and Master's degrees in mathematics, and has active research programs in Algebra, Applied Mathematics, and Probability. The position requires research, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, mentoring of graduate students, and service. The standard workload is 40% research, 40% teaching, and 20% service.
Applicants from all fields represented in the department will be considered, with preference given to those with research interest in Algebra. To be successful a candidate must have at the time of appointment a PhD in mathematics, or a related field, and possess a strong research record. Preference will be given to candidates who have post-doctoral research experience.
