Wilkes University invites applicants for a full time, Tenure Track Assistant Professor Position in the Passan School of Nursing beginning January, 2023. The Passan School of Nursing offers both undergraduate and graduate programs and is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
The successful candidate is responsible for didactic and clinical instruction within the medical surgical courses in the undergraduate program. Effective teaching, mentoring, and advising are expected of all faculty members at Wilkes University. Service to the university and community, as well as scholarly activities support the student-centered core. A Doctorate in Nursing is required but will consider candidates who are completing their PhD dissertation or scholarly project component of their DNP education. Eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania, demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, and current clinical competence is required. The ideal candidate should have prior experience teaching at the college level. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
