Assistant Project Manager - The Deamer Group

The Deamer Group is partnering with Design for Leisure (DFL) for a new Assistant Project Manager role!

Who We Are & What We Do:

Design for Leisure (DFL) is a team of hydrothermal spa specialists working in partnership with owners, operators, architects, and designers to bring European-inspired hydrotherapy concepts to life. Our expertise in building best-in-class wet areas ranges from small but luxurious residential thermal suites with acclaimed hydrothermal circuits for 5-star hospitality projects and luxury commercial developments.

What We're Looking For:

DFL is looking for an Assistant Project Manager willing to work in a fast-paced, multinational company. This position will require experience supporting project planning, coordinating with internal team members, subcontractors and suppliers, conducting site visits, and assisting in project documentation. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to join a growing company in the unique wellness industry, has exemplary organizational and communication skills, with experience in design and construction or related industries.

What Your Day Looks Like:

• Assist in developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets.

• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Assist internal teams with design submittals and managing project documentation

• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality.

• Support the preparation and presentation of project reports to clients and leadership.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• 1-3+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor, professional design practice or development related team.

• Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore, BuilderTrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Proven experience with design principles and construction best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with design principles and the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.

• Understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
