Project Engineer/ Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Construction

A highly respected General Contractor in the St Cloud area is seeking a Project Engineer/APM to add to their awesome culture. Looking for someone that will assist in the overall management of a project from ground up to completion. This includes planning, organizing, and controlling the coordination activities, contract and subcontract negotiations, and provide information and ongoing communication to team members.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure job-specific records are maintained and are current.
• Work with the Project Manager to issue all subcontracts and purchase orders are properly executed
• Assist Superintendent and PM in arranging for and coordinating all requirements for mobilization.
• Process Change Orders; Proposed Change Orders; submittals, RFI's, transmittal's
• Ensure the project administration meets the Quality requirements.
• Work with PM to ensure coordination drawings are completed as required by the Contract documents and submitted timely
• Assist PM to manage closeout activities such as inspections, punch lists, permits, certificate of occupancy, and archiving of project files

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Associates degree in Construction Management, Civil engineering or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in construction management
