Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Hatfield, PA
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for our client, a growing company specializing in miscellaneous and ornamental metals construction projects across the U.S. This includes work on healthcare facilities, schools, stadiums, and other prominent buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with detailers to monitor the progress of drawings.
- Identify, request, and follow up on required information from architects and engineers by compiling and submitting RFIs.
- Perform field measurements and surveys.
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating with other trades, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Help schedule production and delivery of materials.
- Support the Project Manager in scheduling and overseeing erection activities.
- Assist in resolving job site problems alongside the Project Manager.
- Aid in pricing and issuing change order requests, negotiating with General Contractors, Construction Managers, or Owners.
- Collaborate with accounting on job cost estimates and other financial matters.
- Assist in preparing and issuing closeout documents.
- Travel to job sites (mostly day trips within the NYC-Philadelphia corridor).
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience, preferably with a steel or metals fabricator/erector or general contractor, or a college degree in architecture, construction management, civil/structural engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
- Experience with Procore is preferred.

This is primarily an in-person role at the Hatfield, PA office, but a partial remote option may be considered.
