The Project Coordinator (PC) at Visions Designers-Builders Inc. is responsible for collaborating with Owners, Designers, and Architects to secure finish selections within the prescribed budgets. The primary goal of the PC is to maintain project continuity, ensuring adherence to the construction schedule and budget.

Visions Designers-Builders, Inc. is a Central Long Island based General Contractor and Construction Manager. We are experienced in all types of commercial construction including educational, office, mixed use, golf club, industrial, multi-family, hospitality, residential and many other types of facilities. We provide preconstruction and construction management services, and all team members work in both aspects. • Design Collaboration: Participate in design meetings and propose improvements when necessary.
• Selection/Production Support: Assist the selection/production process for projects with undeveloped scopes.
• Team Reporting: Report directly to the Owner and Project Manager while supporting the production team, including the field superintendent and accounting staff.
• Communication: Keep the production/accounting team informed of all selections.
• Documentation: Maintain organized records, minutes, and documentation of progress on all selections and pricing.
• Budget Adherence: Read drawings and specifications, ensuring work within prescribed budgets.
• Subcontractor Management: Solicit subcontractor bids and manage all updated information.
• Bid Assistance: Assist in the initial project bid process when required.

• Licensing and Availability: Valid Driver's License, transportation, and insurance. Ability to work from 8-5 with (2) 15-minute breaks and 1-hour lunch.
• Mobility: Travel from the office in Huntington to job sites and suppliers across Long Island and the East End as required.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move around a construction site when necessary.
• Organization and Detail: Extremely organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professionalism: Represent Visions Designers-Builders in a responsible and professional manner at all times.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in either Design or Project Management.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient with computers and software such as Procore, MS Office, and UDA.
