About the Job
Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager. Our ideal candidate has worked in the construction or asphalt industry for a minimum of 2 years. The role of the Assistant Project Manager is to help the team in all administrative aspects of a project from start to finish to ensure maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do:
- Support in planning, coordinating and overseeing projects from start to finish
- Administrative tasks
- Project coordination
- Permitting & maintaining certificates of insurance
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Prepare submittal packages and follow-up on approval within a timely manner
- Scheduling of project material deliveries
- Perform regular job site visits as directed
- Effectively build and develop relationships and positive brand awareness through all interactions
- Interact with employees and our subcontractors to ensure efficiency targets are being hit or exceeded
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- 2 years experience within construction and/or asphalt
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work in our Plainville, MA office
