Position: Assistant Project Manager, Field Engineer
Job Summary: GPAC is partnering with a premier company focused on Road Restoration and Heavy Highway Projects to find a dedicated and experienced Assistant Project Manager/Field Engineer. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and executing heavy highway projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing and coordinating field operations for heavy highway projects.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, progress updates, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Support the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Facilitate communication between field teams and project management to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Construction Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Project Management Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Strong understanding of heavy highway construction and road restoration practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
