Assistant Property Manager - MAHLER PRIVATE STAFFING

Our clients have a significant residence in Palm Beach and would like to add to their well-established team.

They are hiring an Assistant Property Manager to beautifully maintain the residence and property alongside the current team. The right candidate is a self-starter who can also take direction, has mechanical aptitude, and a hands-on mentality.

Responsibilities:  

• Daily walk of the property to identify potential issues.
• Perform preventative and general maintenance and cleaning duties.
  • Wash windows, pressure wash hard surfaces, vacuum and skim pools/spas, wash and detail vehicles, change A/C filters, clean drains, add algae tabs, replace lightbulbs and batteries, etc.
  • Wipe down outdoor furniture and remove and replace covers daily.
• Regularly inspect all systems and ensure they are in proper working order.
• Coordinate, oversee, and manage repairs, building maintenance, and landscaping work performed by staff, vendors, and contractors.
• Keep vehicles fully serviced and properly stored.
• Assist with driving and errands.
• Ensure the residence is ready for family and guest visits; oversee arrivals and departures.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure the best operating procedures are followed.
• Work on special projects.
• Light administrative duties.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have prior experience caring for and maintaining fine homes, yachts, or luxury hospitality properties, and excellent, verifiable references.

A broad knowledge of residential operations systems is key. The right candidate has a professional demeanor, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to learn. Strong oral and written communication skills and an eye for detail are important.

Schedule:

Generally, a 40–50-hour work week. This role will include some Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Hours may vary during family residency months, guest visits, and events.

Compensation:

$80,000-$90,000 with excellent and comprehensive benefits and an annual discretionary bonus.
