Job Overview:

• Maintain high level of up-to-date technical knowledge to ensure tech have an available resource and mentor to seek understanding.

• Understand field tech requirements to assure proper staffing and training needs. 

• Review/ report on preventative maintenance in the field 

• Work with Service Managers on their accounts on which you are the primary technician to develop a new primary and if necessary, secondary technician. This must be a slow methodical process that’s developed over a period of time ensuring customer satisfaction. 

• Review assigned Preventative Maintenance Agreements to increase efficiency. Efficiency will include but not be limited to: 

  • Review contract coverage and compare to actual set up in Service Database. 

  • Review equipment tasking for accuracy and applicability. 

  • Review materials need at the project site are accurate within the operating system, e.g., belts filters, ect. 

  •  Assist in determining which PM agreements should have the materials preordered and delivered versus the assigned technician and set up system notes and/or notifications. 

  • Increase C technician tasking hours on PM’s where applicable. 

  • Retasks assigned technicians to increase productivity and efficiency. 

• Performs equipment surveys for maintenance sales, project and service managers. 

• Keep sales opportunities up to date so that they can be tracked and reassigned.  

• Assist with quoting transitional sales as required. 

• Review on call assignments

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 10 years' experience in the mechanical service industry.
• Journeyman mechanical license or master license and EPA608 license.

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in a construction related discipline, or ten years of related HVAC/plumbing experience and/or HVAC/plumbing training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years sales, estimating, and project management experience in the mechanical service industry and 5 years.
• Must have excellent customer service skills with experience managing difficult or emotional customer situations.
• Must be highly proficient in using email, database, internet, spreadsheet, and word processing applications (specifically Microsoft Office products)
