Assistant Site Manager - Live on site - Housing Authority Of Jackson County

We are looking for a live, on-site Assistant Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at Rogue River Estates and ensure--tenants have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment to call home. On-site residency is required for the Assistant Site Manager role, and a one-bedroom apartment, including utilities, is provided. The apartment accommodates a maximum occupancy of two people.The salary for this position is $1,300, paid bi-monthly on the 15th and the last day of each month.As an employee of the Housing Authority, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and promote a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, you can take advantage of our casual dress code and enjoy a welcoming, and relaxed atmosphere.What You'll Do:As an Assistant Site Manager, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the property and working directly with tenants. Your key duties will include:Perform daily cleaning and light maintenance of both the interior and exterior common areas.Monitoring tenant compliance with leases and addressing violations.Assisting tenants with forms and inquiries, ensuring compliance with lease regulations.Conducting inspections, responding to emergencies, and performing light maintenance.Fostering a positive community environment by addressing resident concerns professionally.Is This You?You have excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.You're highly organized and can balance multiple tasks.You possess, or have the ability to learn, skills in property management and basic maintenance.You are comfortable living on-site and being available to handle emergencies when necessary.You can set clear boundaries while maintaining a supportive presence for residents.Preferred Skills:Previous experience in property management or a related field.Strong interpersonal skills and maintaining professional relationships with tenants and staff.Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.The Housing Authority of Jackson County is committed to equal employment opportunities.
