Scooter's Coffee in Corinth is looking for an Amazing Assistant Store Manager to lead a team of baristas to be Amazing!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist manager with interviewing, hiring, training, and developing staff to demonstrate all company standards in customer experience and operations
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and development for staff members, identifying individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce/improve performance
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.
- Contribute to store profitability by seeking opportunities to increase sales and by managing expenses
- Encourage and ensure full team participation in both setting store goals and developing action plans to accomplish goals
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and Baristas.
- Ensure consistent and quality customer experience through proper staffing, execution of brand beverage recipes and techniques, and fostering the Scooter's Amazing customer service experience
- Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, visual merchandising standards, food safety standards, and equipment
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure all cash handling, point of sale system, safety, and operational procedures are
- in an accurate, consistent manner
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent customer service skills, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passion for working with and developing people
- Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and administrative
- Ability to anticipate and respond to customer needs
- Restaurant or coffee shop experience preferred
- Previous experience in leading a team preferred
- Texas Food Manager Certification (within 30 days) employer paid
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Constant standing/walking
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crawling
- Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 65 lbs
- Possible exposure to extreme heat and/or cold temperatures
- Occasional ascending or descending on ladders and ramps
- Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine
- Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication
- Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
- Constant cash handling requiring mental math
