About the Job
We are looking for a responsible Assistant Store Manager to help run our Tampa location. The Assistant Store Manager will help the Store Manager model best practices for the team by sharing the LWP brand story, providing personalized recommendations and guiding each customer through their shopping experience in-store. Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a passion for LWP's mission. Additionally, this Assistant Store Manager will either have a special focus on leading the store's visual merchandising and inventory processes OR leading the store's marketing - dependent on candidate experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Work with the Store Manager to motivate the team to perform at their best
- Open and close the store independently
- Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates
- Introduce new products to customers and recommend items based on their needs
- Effectively handle in-store customer issues and answer questions related to merchandise and store policies
- Process transactions accurately on the POS system
- Keep the sales floor tidy and well-stocked
- Assist in maintaining backstock and setting up merchandise on the sales floor
- Operational tasks such as inventory intake, visual merchandising, clienteling, beading table management and KPIs
- Assist customers at the bead-your-own bracelet table and fulfill in-store custom orders
- Other duties, as requested by the Store Manager or Regional Manager
Visual Merchandising & Inventory Responsibilities/Qualifications
- Meet with the HQ team weekly to review visual merchandising and inventory levels
- Receive all incoming merchandise through our ERP platform (Netsuite) and flag any discrepancies
- Lead weekly and quarterly cycle counts and report all findings to the operations team
- Manage inventory levels to ensure displays and available stock are up to standard
- Lead product knowledge for each launch
- Proven experience in inventory management and ERP System(s) (Netsuite is a plus)
- Experience in visual merchandising and a keen eye for aesthetics
Marketing Responsibilities/Qualifications
- Plan and execute in-store events/activations and activations to enhance customer experience
- Implement clienteling techniques to build strong relationships with customers
- Generate creative and engaging social media content that aligns with the brand identity
- Develop and nurture relationships with brand ambassadors/local influencers, leveraging their influence to enhance brand awareness
- Experience in retail marketing, including clienteling and events
- Familiarity with social media and trends
- Experience with CRM systems (Endear is a plus)

- Retail Experience
- 2+ years' of retail experience
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Desire to be creative in terms of the beading table and capturing content
- Problem-solving attitude
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
