YOUR DAY
In your position as an Assistant Preschool Teacher, you'll actively engage children in diverse activities, create immersive learning experiences, and collaborate on inventive teaching tools. Implementing the CLASS tool, you'll ensure meaningful interactions, contribute to individualization goals, and supervise skill development. Outside the classroom, your flexibility shines in weekly team meetings and occasional substitute teaching. Additionally, your adaptability extends to serving as a bus monitor on Head Start school buses. Throughout, your dedication remains unwavering to fostering a nurturing environment, honoring each child's uniqueness, and playing a role in shaping the future-one child at a time.
REQUIREMENTS
· Associate degree in early childhood education or child development OR enrolled in a relevant program
· Knowledge of licensing requirements, Child and Adult Care Food Program, and Head Start Program performance standards
· Ability to use an electronic payroll system
· Ability to occasionally travel out-of-county and out-of-state
At least 6 months of related experience is highly preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE
Your commitment will be celebrated with a Monday through Friday schedule between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Flexibility is the key, allowing you to tailor schedules and action plans to cater to the unique needs of children, families, and our program.
