Your Impact
+ Establish and maintain strong client relationships with new and existing clients in the area.
+ Maintain a strong focus on business development and marketing for both new and existing clients.
+ Drive performance of the business, strategically grow our market share and become a preferred provider to our clients.
+ Advanced proficiency with structural engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, standard of care, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.
+ Be a recognized leader in the local community.
+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
+ Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelors Degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Planning, or a related field (or equivalent experience.).
+ 10+ years of relevant post education experience in right of way acquisition management
+ Sound decision-making, strategic and visionary thinking, and creative business development capabilities across a multi-disciplined practice.
+ Commitment to internal and external client service.
+ Understanding of the role and all end market sectors within the A/E/C industry.
+ Motivational; staff development mindset; excellent leadership/managerial and mentoring/teaching skills.
+ Highly organized; detail oriented; skilled with implementation/ logistics.
+ Budget management / enterprise business aptitude.
+ Strong working knowledge of the Uniform Act and right of way acquisition processes for federally funded and locally funded projects.
+ Strong working knowledge of the land rights acquisition process for utility and energy sector projects.
+ Works independently and provides guidance and leadership to mid-level to senior level team or project members, with strict adherence to QA/QC.
+ Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively, persuasively, and tactfully interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
+ Tactical lateral thinking and strong analytical skills with attention to detail and prioritization of responsibilities in a pressure work environment.
+ Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, clients, regulators, and company-wide staff, including those with whom no formal hierarchical relationship exits.
+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master’s Degree is preferred.
