Located in a convenient location in Catonsville, Maryland, Peace Gardens offers a peaceful and supportive environment for its residents. This position is a full time, day shift position. Possible weekend and evening shift on call availability needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have valid Assisted Living Manager Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within an assisted living or long-term care facility.
• Strong knowledge of Maryland state regulations and compliance standards for assisted living facilities.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Certified medication technician license preferred

JOB SUMMARY: The Assisted Living Manager plans, implements, directs, and monitors the community in accordance with policies, resident rights, and state regulations to ensure the highest quality of resident care and customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the daily operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Manage and lead a team of caregivers, nurses, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
• Foster a positive and inclusive community environment, promoting resident engagement through activities and events.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
• Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and supplies to ensure efficient and effective facility operations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, including resident files, incident reports, and regulatory compliance documents.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
