We are seeking an Associate Actuary to join our clients Personal Lines Pricing and Commercial Lines Pricing teams. This role offers a chance to work on impactful projects that drive the profitability and growth of various insurance products.

Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate Actuary, you will work closely with colleagues across the company to tackle key business challenges. Your primary responsibilities include:

- Conducting pricing studies to assess the profitability of Auto, Homeowners, and Workers’ Compensation insurance products.
- Analyzing rating variables and recommending pricing adjustments.
- Performing competitor analysis to stay informed on pricing and product developments.
- Collaborating with the Predictive Analytics team on data modeling projects.
- Partnering with Marketing to enhance the effectiveness of advertising expenditures.
- Analyzing data from usage-based insurance (UBI) programs and recommending pricing changes.
- Conducting trend analysis to understand changes in the frequency and severity of insurance claims.
- Assessing the impact of crash-avoidance technology on Auto insurance claims.

This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work flexibility.

Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) actuarial work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- ACAS (Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society) credential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
