Associate Attorney, bilingual Korean
[Job Summary]
Review claims thoroughly for completeness and approve and deny for payment. Good faith is fundamental to claims handling, giving consideration to an insured's interests at least equal to that given to the insurer's interest when handling a claim. Investigation must be thorough, timely, unbiased.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive the claim and acknowledge
- Identify the policy and coverage
- Contact insured or insured's representative
- Investigate the claim
- Evaluate the cause of loss, Liability, loss amount
- Document and report the claim
- Conclude the claim (accept, deny or negotiate)
- Pay the claim
- Support litigations about the claim
- Prepare Large Loss Report for upper management
- Notify Underwriting Department of potential risk found on the claim process
- Encourage and foster a periodic meeting regarding claim process
[Qualifications]
- 0~1 years experience (entry preferred)
- Recent Law school graduates welcome- No bar license required
- Must be bilingual Korean/English
- Detail Oriented, willing to learn, can-do attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft program, such as Excel
- Law Firm experience preferred, but not required
- Visa Sponsorship available if needed
