A well-established boutique law firm in Boulder, CO is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of civil litigation experience and must possess an active Colorado law license. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Litigate civil cases in state and federal courts.
- Conduct legal research, including use of Lexis+
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
- Draft written discovery requests and responses.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
- Provide legal counsel to clients, build and maintain strong client relationships, and effectively communicate legal strategies and case updates.
- Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
- Attend court hearings and trials.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on complex legal matters.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado law license (in good standing).
- 1-2 years of civil litigation experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
Base salary of $90,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience) and performance-based bonuses.
