Associate Attorney - Commercial Litigation - Gpac

A well-established California law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join their recognized Commercial Litigation practice. Candidates should have 4-7 years of litigation experience, excellent academic credentials, and collaborates well with a team. Ideal candidates will have extensive commercial litigation experience and the ability to independently manage their own caseload. Associates work collaboratively with attorneys and clients, and are trusted to handle all aspects of litigation. 

Qualifications & Skills:

• 4-7 years of commercial litigation experience, such as breach of contract, partnership disputes, insurance law, employment disagreements, product liability, and/or business torts and class actions 
• Experience drafting and arguing motions, propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation 
• Strong writing and case management skills, direct experience handling clients and adversaries, and excellent oral advocacy skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and client communication
• Proficient in handling multiple cases and priorities while meeting deadlines efficiently
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
• Trial experience is preferred, but not a requirement
