We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly driven, and bilingual Associate Attorney to join our fast-paced legal firm. The successful candidate will be fluent in Spanish and have extensive experience in municipal and commercial law. This position offers an incredible opportunity to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment where you will be able to expand your legal knowledge and skills. The chosen candidate will be expected to provide top-notch legal services to our diverse clientele, ensuring their legal needs are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and counsel in matters of municipal and commercial law.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents in both English and Spanish.
3. Represent clients in court proceedings, providing solid and well-researched arguments.
4. Maintain current knowledge of changes in legislation and court decisions that may affect our clients.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their rights protected.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services.
7. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
8. Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices for legal process and procedure within the firm.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state of Texas
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, specifically in municipal and commercial law.
4. Fluent in Spanish, both written and spoken. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
6. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
9. Proven ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
10. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act decisively.
