Our firm is on the hunt for a dynamic Permanent Associate Attorney to join our seasoned team of legal professionals. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in construction law and construction litigation. This role will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to work on complex legal matters, represent clients in high-stakes disputes, and provide legal guidance on construction-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in the legal field, with a focus on construction law and litigation. This role will involve working closely with partners and clients, presenting a unique opportunity to grow and refine your legal skills.
Responsibilities:
The Permanent Associate Attorney will be responsible for:
1. Representing clients in construction-related disputes and litigation.
2. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents related to construction projects.
3. Providing legal advice on construction law matters, including contract disputes, lien claims, construction defects, and delay claims.
4. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis on various construction law issues.
5. Collaborating with partners and other attorneys to develop case strategies.
6. Preparing and presenting cases in court.
7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to construction law.
8. Ensuring all legal advice and representation adhere to professional ethics and standards of practice.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Associate Attorney position should possess:
1. A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of five years of experience in construction law and litigation.
3. Admitted and in good standing with the state bar.
4. Proven experience in representing clients in construction-related disputes.
5. Strong knowledge of construction law and regulations.
6. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
7. Excellent research and analytical skills.
8. Ability to handle multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
9. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
