We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This position requires a strong background in legal research with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the legal industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple cases, demonstrating exceptional client service, and producing high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and provide legal advice to clients.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
3. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, presenting arguments and evidence to support case positions.
4. Develop case strategies, considering potential outcomes, costs, and benefits for the client.
5. Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to manage case files and ensure client needs are met.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal trends, and industry regulations to provide accurate advice and guidance.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their legal needs are met.
8. Participate in business development activities, such as networking events, to grow the firm's client base.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member in good standing with the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as an attorney, with a strong background in legal research.
4. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.
5. Exceptional litigation skills, with experience representing clients in court proceedings.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal information.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
8. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines.
9. Strong client-service orientation, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
10. Ability to work effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships.
