Position: Civil Litigation Defense Attorney

Location: Princeton, NJ 

A premier civil litigation firm is currently seeking a Civil Litigation Defense Attorney to join their dynamic team. They are in search of a candidate with strong writing skills, exceptional research abilities, and a proactive approach to handling all stages of litigation. Prior civil litigation experience is a must, and insurance defense experience is highly preferred. Position Overview:

As an integral member of the firm's Civil Litigation practice, you will be responsible for a wide range of cases from inception to resolution. Your duties will include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, overseeing discovery, and representing clients in court. This role presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth as you collaborate closely with experienced partners and tackle challenging cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the New Jersey State Bar in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm setting
• Strong legal research and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to independently manage a caseload while working collaboratively with team members
• Client-focused mindset and a drive for achieving successful outcomes
