Location: Stuart, FL (On-site position only)
Compensation: Base salary starting at $80K with monthly bonuses based on productivity, with potential earnings of $120K-$130K annually. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance plans with 75% of premiums covered by the employer, 120 hours of paid vacation, 40 hours of paid sick leave, 12 paid holidays, and employer-paid CLEs to maintain licensure.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our clients' boutique law firm to assist their clients with real estate matters. This on-site role offers a unique opportunity to work with an experienced, collaborative team on a variety of complex residential and commercial real estate transactions, with a focus on both client service and team development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of technical expertise in real estate transactions and will embody our firms culture of integrity, teamwork, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Review and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements to protect clients legal rights, ensuring all terms are clear, enforceable, and aligned with state and federal regulations.
- Title Examination and Clearance: Conduct comprehensive title searches, identify encumbrances or liens, and resolve any issues to facilitate smooth property transfers.
- Escrow Management: Act as an escrow agent, handling deposits, deeds, and essential documents until all contractual obligations are met.
- Closing Coordination: Oversee all closing aspects, including preparing statements, ensuring accurate fund distribution, and confirming that documents are executed and recorded.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with all legal requirements, including proper document filing and title insurance procurement.
Technical Competencies:
- Proficient in handling residential and commercial property transactions, including title clearance, survey reviews, and document recording.
- Skilled in managing Closers Choice real estate software for report generation and data analysis.
- Well-versed in local real estate networks in Palm Beach and Martin Counties, leveraging connections with attorneys and realtors to expedite transactions.
