Associate Attorney – Business Litigation - San Diego, CA
A boutique law firm in San Diego is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 1–2 years of experience to join its Business Litigation Practice Group. Responsibilities:
- Support senior attorneys with a wide range of business litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
- Assist in discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas.
- Perform document review and analysis.
- Participate in client meetings and maintain communication with client representatives.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and other court proceedings under supervision.
- Collaborate with the legal team on case strategy and trial preparation.
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing with the California Bar.
- 1–2 years of experience in civil litigation.
- Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
