Our highly reputable law firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Tax/Estate Planning. This role offers the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s most talented professionals, providing comprehensive legal advice on a range of complex tax and estate planning matters. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, helping to shape and implement strategies that ensure our clients' financial health and future.
Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney - Tax/Estate Planning, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
1. Provide expert legal advice on a wide array of tax and estate planning matters, including but not limited to, trust and estate administration, business succession planning, charitable giving, and wealth transfer planning.
2. Review and analyze federal income tax returns, identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored advice to meet their financial and estate planning objectives.
4. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and other professionals to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients.
5. Stay updated with the latest changes in tax and estate planning laws and regulations, ensuring our firm's practices and advice are always in line with current legal standards.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Associate Attorney - Tax/Estate Planning position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax law and estate planning, with a proven track record of success.
4. Extensive experience in reviewing and analyzing federal income tax returns.
5. Strong knowledge of tax and estate planning laws and regulations.
6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach to legal practice.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to complex legal issues.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team, contributing to the firm's collaborative environment.
