Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney with expertise in landlord-tenant law to join a well-respected law firm based in Staten Island, NY. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research and writing skills, an ability to navigate complex tenant disputes, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in landlord-tenant matters, including housing court proceedings.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, leases, and agreements.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients on various issues pertaining to landlord-tenant relationships.
• Manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in New York State.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in landlord-tenant law or related fields preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
