Associate Azure Architect - Erlanger, KY
This is a full-time, exempt position.
The Associate Azure Architect will support technology design and development across modern application, integration, data, and security architectures. This position requires experience in using front-end and back-end development technologies and frameworks. He or she will possess and further develop technical expertise across networks, security, cloud, data, and application architectures. This individual will support the development of enterprise standards, and design patterns. This individual gradually learn how to lead the creation of technical architecture designs for new projects.
This is an Associate Architect-level position, and requires good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across IT departments.
Job Responsibilities
+ Support Enterprise Architecture governance process administration
+ Support EA Technical Design Services
+ Support EA Technical Design Review Services, include reporting on reviews
+ In time, learn how to lead cross-functional solution design efforts involving cloud, networks, security, apps, data and analytics
+ Support ADM’s emerging Cloud CoE
+ Help maintain and develop technical standards
+ Help develop cross-functional technical services, including DevOps pipelines, test automation, infrastructure as code, digital-self-service
+ Consult with ADM project teams and provide guidance and expertise
+ Achieve and maintain certifications in ADM’s technology ecosystems
+ Maintain knowledge of industry trends and utilize this knowledge to educate both IT and the business on opportunities to build better target architectures that support and drive business decisions.
Job Requirements
+ 6 years of IT experience
+ Familiarity with IT technical design and implementation experience overall (either exclusively or across applications, data, cloud infrastructure, networks, or security)
+ Experience developing cloud solutions using Azure services such as App Service, Active Directory, Azure Functions, API Management, Application Gateway, Logic Apps, and AKS
+ Experience with Source Code Management tools such as Git, GitHub, SVN, Gitlab
+ Experience in software development using languages such as C#, Java, Python, or R
+ Understanding of networking and security architecture
+ Within 6 months of employment, 1 “associate” level certification in Azure among the following: Cloud Architect, Security Architect, Data Architect, Application Architect, Analytics Architect
+ Azure Solution Architect certification preferred
+ Ability to learn how to create draft high and low level technical designs
+ Ability to help design reviews and architecture reviews
+ Understanding of application and cloud architectures
+ Understanding of application security architecture and identity management
