Overview
Associate Client Product Development Property/Casualty Specialist (Commercial) Objective
To organize, plan, and manage the development, implementation and maintenance of designated Farm Bureau Property/Casualty (P/C) products with complimenting FB Partners products and provide information and materials necessary to support a professional multi-line Field Force. To support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Farm Bureau’s P/C corporate initiatives. To serve as a subject matter expert for designated property and casualty lines of business.
Responsibilities
Associate Client Product Development Property/Casualty Specialist (Commercial) Responsibilities
Participate as a Marketing Division representative and team member on key corporate projects. Represent both Home Office and Field Force marketing interests on assigned corporate projects.
Identify product and coverage needs for designated P/C products for the Farm Bureau Field Force and lead the process of determining if the product/coverage belongs with Farm Bureau Insurance or FB Partners based on corporate goals and objectives.
Perform an integral role in the training of Farm Bureau Insurance Agents on designated P/C products. Conduct training seminars in the field for introducing new product lines and updating changes in the existing lines. Assist in conducting training seminars for products of FB Partners.
Qualifications
Associate Client Product Development Property/Casualty Specialist (Commercial) Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in marketing, insurance, business or related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
Knowledge of computer and online processes.
Active State of Michigan insurance license in Property and Casualty required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
CLU, ChFC, FLMI and/or LIC designations preferred, or currently working toward professional insurance designation(s).
Preferred
Minimum three years’ experience in marketing and/or underwriting preferred.
Background in and knowledge of insurance sales and service preferred.
