The role reports directly to Controller.
Hybrid Schedule: 3/2 or 4/1 Flexibility
Job Description:
Facilitate timely, accurate reconciliations and internal/external financial reporting.
Oversee the entire G/L process.
Take ownership of month-end close.
Assist in managing annual audits and participate in Federal filings preparation.
Handle endowment accounting.
Support post-award grant accounting.
Supervise procurement policies, cash management, and grants management.
Ensure operational efficiency and update internal controls as necessary.
Requirements:
Must demonstrate an understanding and commitment to the institution's mission and values.
Bachelor’s degree and/or CPA with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
Masters is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Familiarity with Ellucian Colleague is highly desirable.
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
