About the Job
The Associate Digital Marketing Analyst will play a key role in shaping and implementing our clients’ digital advertising strategies. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop and optimize ad buying campaigns, analyze performance data, and deliver insights that drive growth. You will manage and report on paid search, paid social, and premium programmatic/display campaigns. This position is ideal for a data-driven marketer who is passionate about digital advertising and staying ahead of industry trends.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in digital buying. They will also have a strong eye for graphic design/video editing and proven copywriting skills to help advise and contribute to the ad creation process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop digital ad buying strategies based on client objectives and target audiences across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, X and others.
- Launch, monitor, and optimize paid ad campaigns– to include paid search, paid social, and premium programmatic/display– ensuring they meet performance and ROI goals.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of campaign performance using analytics tools and provide actionable insights for optimization.
- Write copy for paid ads (text overlay, captions, headlines).
- Assist design team with content outlines and building creative for campaigns that require static and animated / video content.
- Collaborate with account managers and clients to communicate campaign progress, KPIs, and recommendations.
- Assist in preparing detailed reports on campaign performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging platforms, and advertising best practices to refine campaign strategies.
- Manage budgets and bid strategies to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of ad spending.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on paid media and digital advertising.
- Hands-on experience with digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital buying strategy and execution – including writing campaign outlines, identifying budgets, drafting campaigns in-platform, researching and drafting target audiences, and creating/tracking landing page UTMs.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and optimize campaigns based on platform-specific insights and trends.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and campaign performance reporting.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Analytics, Sprout Social) and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Alignment with Pinkston’s guiding principles.
Preferred
- Familiarity with developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Experience creating or working with designers and video editors to create visually appealing and effective ad creatives that align with brand guidelines and enhance campaign performance.
