The Associate Director AI Solutions Strategy Lead reports to the Director, Data and Analytics Product in the MABI Center of Excellence (MABI CoE) team. The MABI CoE Data and Analytics Product team is responsible for leading enterprise-level solutions that empower brands to make effective data-driven decisions to maximize business performance and enhance patient experience. This is a leadership position that will play a critical role in establishing the vision and strategic direction for leveraging AI and Gen AI capabilities in the data and analytics space. This individual will work with cross functional stakeholders to understand business needs and capabilities in development across teams and establish best practices and guidelines for leveraging such solutions for the broader MABI organization. This person will be the Subject Matter Expert in the AI space and bring that leadership in conversations with stakeholders and providing guidance. This role will be responsible for assessing business requirements, researching solutions, conducting feasibility assessment, and recommending the best solution. Additionally, this individual will be the business lead for proof-of-concept and scalable analytics capabilities development. This role will collaborate closely with internal and external partners to deliver on this promise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with leaders across various functional areas (e.g. data governance, data ops, strategy, marketing, technology, and finance) to understand business challenges.
- Establish roadmap for AI integration into data and analytics solutions.
- Conduct research and feasibility assessment to identify challenges that can be addressed by leveraging AI advancements and recommend candidate solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics through internal and external partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation through the application of cutting-edge techniques and algorithms.
- As applicable, lead the development of proof-of-concept solutions to demonstrate value.
- Create and deliver presentations and read-outs to various levels of leadership to communicate project status, findings, and recommendations.
Supervisory / Management Responsibilities:
Lead up to 2 direct reports. Manage vendor relationships and budgets.
QualificationsKey Competencies:
- Advanced understanding of the AI/ML landscape and recent Gen AI advancements
- Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills
- Demonstrated ability to present complex topics to senior management and contributing to high level presentations and discussions
- Experience working with and managing multiple internal partners and external agencies
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence development and adoption of capabilities
- Strong planning and organization skills.
- Strong focus on teamwork, relationship-building and influencing others; acting courageously and constructively, with agility and a high degree of accountability.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline; advanced degree preferred.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics
- 6+ years of experience defining data and technology requirements to support analytics
- 6+ years of experience leveraging multiple sources of data and integrating them to deliver actionable recommendations
- 3+ years of experience working directly with senior leadership and cross functional stakeholders
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Pharmaceutical industry
- Familiarity with various prescription and patient data sources such as Symphony Health, IQVIA, etc.
