Position Summary
The Associate Director will assist business owners and investors in buying, selling and leasing commercial property. This role will have direct and unlimited contact with customers. The Associate will actively market property, service their customers, and manage brokerage business.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform leasing and sales marketing efforts for office property.
- Coordinate lease and sales transactions between landlords, buyers, tenants, contractors, government municipalities, and legal counsel.
- Manage new business development efforts for exclusive listing and search agreements.
- Establish best practices in the brokerage transaction process.
- Provide professional, quality customer service to customers, contractors, staff and other community contacts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science degree required
- Florida Real Estate Sales Associate License required
- 3 to 5 years commercial real estate brokerage or similar sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the commercial real estate industry, construction, marketing, property management, and financial analysis
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to handle and schedule multiple priorities
- Must have superb administrative/organization skills
- Ability to gather information, evaluate options and offer viable solutions
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direction/supervision while still accomplishing a variety of goals
- Must be forward-thinking and have a client-focused approach to resolving issues
- Requires expert proficiency in the operation of PC and related software (e.g., Microsoft products) and have database experience
- Ability to analyze and interpret real estate contracts, professional journals, and/or governmental regulations
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from investors, brokers and the general public and maintain strict confidentiality
- Must be able to calculate figures such as commissions, deposits, interest, and percentages
- Must possess problem-solving ingenuity and team player qualities
- Willingness to learn new things and advance in the organization
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and peers in further of Council goals.
Training: The in-house training consists of Prime Realty best practices, commercial real estate sales training, and technical brokerage education. The Associate is provided the opportunity to attend structured training classes, shadow active employees and agents, and attend webinar sessions and seminars for industry trade organizations.
Starting Compensation: $75,000/year (commission)
