In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering insights and analytics to support the commercial success of our lung cancer and solid tumor targeted therapies. The primary responsibility of this role will include delivering robust forecasts and conducting business analytics to shape the pipeline strategy. Secondary to forecasting and analytics, the role will also be responsible for leading and delivering key strategic insights to support decision making through primary and secondary market research, serving as the “voice of the customer” and translating "customer learnings" into actionable recommendations.Responsibilities:Develop/maintain/update forecast models to inform long-range financial planning and governance milestone decisions.Deliver global forecasts, perform sensitivity analysis and establish bridges to prior forecasts.Facilitate and lead discussions to determine appropriate forecast model designs, formulate key assumptions, and ensure alignment with Global and Regional stakeholdersEnsure rigor in global forecast assumptions by integrating insights from Competitive Intel and Market ResearchPartner with regional commercial analytics teams for product performance tracking and dashboardsEffectively communicate to global and regional commercial leadership by clearly articulating and framing the opportunities and risksPartner with supply chain on manufacturing/supply planningLeading and delivering Market ResearchDevelop market research plans by understanding existing data and insight gaps. Ensure alignment with Global and Regional stakeholders.Execute qualitative and quantitative global primary market researchArticulate market research findings. Frame and effectively communicate insights, risks and opportunities. Recommend actions.Facilitate and lead discussions with cross-functional teams regarding implications and relevant recommendations based on the insights generated from primary and secondary research and other analyses.Work collaboratively with the Global Commercial marketing team(s) as well as other cross-company and cross-functional partners, including Business Development to optimize commercial development strategies.QualificationsEducation:A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.An advanced degree is preferred.Experience and Skills:Required: A minimum of 8 years of progressive business experience in relevant areas such as Forecasting, Market Research, Quantitative Sciences, Business Analytics, Competitive Intelligence, Business Development, or Marketing is required.Forecasting experience within the pharmaceutical industry is required.Preferred:Market Research experience in addition to forecasting experienceExperience in OncologyStrong communication skills and storytelling capabilityProved ability to gather data, analyze data for insights, and form recommendationsAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong learning agility to quickly establish a sound understanding of the disease areas and relevant product-specific clinical dataSound business acumen, and ability to validate business assumptions, discuss business and marketing strategies with commercial leadsStrong ability to “cut through” the noise, validate root cause directly with commercial leads, and strategically sums up context and recommendationsAbility to lead, manage, and influence others with or without direct authorityCollaboration skills and ability to form and maintain cross‐functional partnershipThis position is based in Raritan, NJ on a hybrid in-office schedule and may require up to 10% domestic travel.The base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $203,550. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
