Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis and Requirements Gathering- Collaborate with stakeholders in G&A departments and Clinical Development to understand business needs, identify pain points and translate them into actionable requirements
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and innovations through technology solutions
- Create user stories, process flows, and other documentation to effectively communicate business needs to technical teams and implementation partners
- Provide strategic guidance and support to business stakeholders for key G&A and Clinical Development applications, including:
- NetSuite (ERP)
- Coupa (Procurement)
- Medidata (Clinical trial management)
- Wingspan (eTMF)
- Dotcompliance (Quality management)
- Paylocity (HRIS)
- Greenhouse (ATS)
- Act as the primary liaison between end-users and IT, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and escalating complex challenges to implementation partners for additional technical support
- Develop and deliver user training and documentation to enhance system adoption and user satisfaction
- Gather and analyze user feedback to drive continuous improvement of systems and processes, ensuring the alignment with the evolving business needs
- Coordinate with external implementation partners and vendors for system upgrades, new feature rollouts, and complex issue resolution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Assist in managing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for IT initiatives employing best practices in project management.
- Facilitate communication between business units, IT team, and external partners to ensure alignment on project goals and outcomes.
- Analyze current workflows and suggest process improvements leveraging existing systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to map out future state processes and identify technology needs to support company’s growth and strategic objectives
- Assist in change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems minimizing disruptions and maximizing users’ buy-in.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems administration, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of business processes in G&A functions and early to mid-stage Clinical Development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior communication and documentation skills
- Experience with requirements gathering and process mapping
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry, including GxP, SOX, and GDPR
- Proven track record of delivering IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives within a consulting or corporate setting
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite), financial software, and clinical trial management systems (preferably Medidata)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and AWS Cloud platforms
- CSPO, CBAP, or similar business analysis certification
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across various departments
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Collaborative mindset with excellent cross-functional teamwork skills
- Adaptable and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment without excessive organizational structure
