Job DescriptionThe Associate Director, Marketing Programs leads our marketing activities supporting D&G’s complete portfolio of products. The Associate Director, Marketing Programs works closely with the Marketing and Commercial Teams to provide support for marketing activities including promotional and communication programs, digital and event marketing projects including lead generation activities, marketing positioning and communications initiatives, events, and sponsorship programs. The role includes support of marketing communications for product promotion and product launches, web projects, traditional marketing programs, email campaigns, sales support and marketing analytics including lead generation activities. In addition, product development support, competitive assessments and channel strategies are key aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the annual marketing programs strategic plan and associated budget, aligned with assigned business objectives.
- In cooperation with your team, develop the key initiatives, measurements, and detailed team goals for achievement of the business plan. Support the team to implement and manage tactical marketing activities to achieve the sales and profit goals for the product line. This includes value proposition, branding strategy and channel strategy.
- Lead the development, successful implementation, and performance measurement of marketing programs for key campaigns and new product launches, including promotional materials, advertising, news releases, sales tools and technical support materials.
- Support the creation of materials related to marketing projects including sales focus campaigns, product launches, content offers, web updates, blogs, email campaigns, and other special projects.
- Support lead generation campaigns and ensure leads are processed correctly into our marketing automation platform and CRM. Lead the team in continuous improvement in our management and delivery of MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) and nurturing of our leads contact database.
- Work with vendors, e.g. outside advertising agencies, event organizers, marketing design agencies, etc., to ensure timely, cost effective execution and meeting of performance objectives.
- Employ formal and informal market research tools, including ongoing contacts with customers, business partners, sales force, vendors, etc., to identify and interpret changing customer attitudes, demands, and needs.
- Lead the monthly/quarterly/annual management reporting for team activities, marketing programs performance, and marketing analytics e.g. customer engagement data analytics.
- Monitor competitive activity and maintain knowledge of current advances and technologies.
- Keep up-to-date on regulations and accept ownership on complying with regulatory requirements.
- Exhibit a passion for customers focused on enhancing relationships, exhibiting high standards of performance and teamwork.
- Be a champion of meeting both internal and external customer needs.

Education and/or Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years experience with product management or marketing/advertising technology.
- Minimum of 5+ years related experience with and a solid understanding of marketing Infrastructure, including enterprise-scale sales and marketing automation platform (Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Marketo, Adobe Marketing Cloud, etc.) interoperating with website content management systems, promotional campaigns, email marketing, PPC, SEO & SEM.
- Experience launching or driving adoption of products, demonstrating knowledge of customer needs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience applying SEM and SEO concepts.
- Track record of supporting successful demand generation programs from campaign concept to reporting and analysis.
- Specific experience designing and implementing marketing automation (Hubspot essential) and associated processes.
- Strong analytical skills and ROI driven; including experience reviewing campaign performance results and making recommendations for future action
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics
- Experience in the field of life sciences, medical devices, or biotechnology industries preferred
